BREAKING: New York hospitals have been put on ‘citywide’ alert as police rush to respond to an ‘active crime scene’ involving ‘multiple fatalities’ in Manhattan.
The incident is reportedly unfolding at the intersection of East 115 St and 2055 3rd Avenue, East Harlem.
Police say they have mobilised a ‘Level 1’ response after reports of three or four people having been shot, with the status of the gunman unclear.Fox News reports tweeted video showing multiple police cars and a heavy police presence outside of the Thomas Jefferson Houses, where the shooting took place.No details of the shooter have yet come to light.
