A manhunt is underway after a man in his 30s was killed in a stabbing attack in Sydney's inner-west yesterday.
Police were called to Donnelly Street in Balmain about 3.40pm, where they found the victim suffering facial injuries and stab wounds to his torso. The man, who is yet to be formally identified, was taken to hospital, where he underwent surgery, but died.Police have been told the man was initially injured during an altercation with two men before the pair fled in a vehicle.Police said a firearm was recovered in the vehicle and it was seized for forensic examination.
Crime scenes have been established at Balmain and Five Dock and will be forensically examined to see if there is any connection between the two.Continue reading
