NRL: The Kangaroos are hoping to seek revenge by defeating New Zealand in the Pacific Championships.

The Manly Sea Eagles are reportedly set to make a play for out of favour Gold Coast Titans halfback Tanah Boyd with a view to him replacing Daly Cherry-Evans long-term.Boyd is contracted until the end of 2025 and is free to negotiate with rivals from November 1.However, the Titans have granted Boyd permission to explore his options immediately after he fell out of favour under Des Hasler last season.

The 24-year-old has scored nine tries and kicked 108 goals in 69 games for the Titans since his debut in 2019. Despite being dropped by the Kangaroos, Cherry-Evans is still playing at a high level for Manly and Queensland, but it remains to be seen how long he wants to play on.
