A million-pound mansion in Greater Manchester has had a whopping £500,000 taken off its price tag after being on the market for nine months without finding a buyer. The property in Sale, a desirable town in the centre of Trafford, was originally put up for sale for £1.5 million back in January this year, but its price has now been slashed to £1 million.
This four-bed detached home in Sale has had one of the biggest price reductions across the region after struggling to sell. Sold prices from the Land Registry reveal the mansion, which is thought to date back to the 1860s, was last sold for £451,000 back in March 2018. Set across more than 2,000 square foot, the home has been left as a blank canvas with no furniture for the new buyer to make their own. It is spread over three floors with a large open-plan kitchen diner, separate sitting room, living room, porch, study, utility room and WC all on the ground floor.
