Erik ten Hag has been sent the perfect message regarding reported Man United transfer target Manuel Ugarte
Reported Manchester United transfer target Manuel Ugarte has been compared to a £60million Premier League midfielder. Earlier this week, United emerged as a potential destination for Ugarte with exploratory talks held over a summer move after a challenging first season at Paris Saint-Germain.
12 months ago the French giants spent €60million to sign Ugarte from Sporting CP after Chelsea left the race for his signature. As per the Telegraph, United deny suggestions that a bid has been rejected by PSG with it just initial interest and early discussions thus far. With Casemiro expected to move on, signing Palhinha as his replacement would have been the dream with previous claims from Ruben Amorim, who managed both Palhinha and Ugarte, suggesting Erik ten Hag will be getting his very own version of the Fulham man if he signs Ugarte.
"We want two players per position who can give us guarantees. He has similar characteristics to Palhinha and Dario needs another year. Ugarte's arrival doesn't mean Palhinha has to leave."
