In July 2021, Daryl Brandon Dennis, 33, was arrested following a monthslong investigation by the King County Sheriff’s Office.

U.S. Attorney Nick Brown said, “Mr. Dennis’ storage trailer contained thousands of fentanyl pills, heroin, meth and cocaine, as well as a dozen firearms – four of them stolen. A dangerous combination for our community.”

According to the release, deputies began their investigation of Dennis in January 2021, including surveillance and arranging some undercover purchases. On July 2, investigators searched Dennis’ home and car after they noticed he loaded duffel bags into his vehicle before the search, officials said. Drugs and guns were found inside the bag.

Dennis also led officers to his storage trailer in Kent, where they found 12 more guns, two grenades and drugs including fentanyl, methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine, mushrooms, MDMA and prescription narcotics such as Xanax.Once Dennis is done serving his prison sentence, he will also be required to complete five years of supervised release.
