The Australian Bureau of Statistics will release its March quarterly inflation data this morning.
The Consumer Price Index data is expected to show annual headline inflation has slowed from 7.8 per cent to 7.0 per cent.
The inflation rate will influence whether the Reserve Bank raises interest rates at its next board meeting.

South Australian footballer dies after on-field collisionA 20-year-old man has died in Adelaide after being critically injured in an on-field collision during a football match over the weekend. Australian rules footballer Antonio Loiacono was playing in the opening game of the season in Adelaide Hills for his A-grade team when he was injured on Saturday.
