The top 10 of the Billboard 200 albums chart just got a little more festive, thanks to MariahCarey
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums and streaming equivalent albums . The new Dec. 14-dated chart will be posted in full on jumps 21-9 on the Billboard 200 with 37,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending Dec. 5 , according to Nielsen Music.
It made its first return engagement to the top 10 after that during the 2018/2019 holiday season, when the album spent another week in the top 10, on the list dated Jan. 5, 2019 .has sold 5.7 million copies in the U.S., making it the third-largest selling holiday album since Nielsen Music began electronically tracking sales in 1991.features the enduring hit song “All I Want for Christmas Is You," which has so far peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart .
