A marine search has been launched off the Dampier Coast for 44-year-old Kevin Cunningham.The Water Police Coordination Centre has launched a marine search operation for a missing man off WA's Dampier Coast.
Kevin Cunningham, 44, last spoke to someone while navigating his vessel from Wandoo to Dampier on Sunday night.abc.net.au/news/missing-fisherman-off-dampier-coast-western-australia/104270810A marine search is underway in Western Australia's north-west after a fisherman failed to return home from a boat trip overnight.Police said he had told an associate that he was navigating his vessel back from the Wandoo oil field to a boat ramp in Dampier, about 21 kilometres from Karratha.
The 44-year-old is believed to have been driving a 5.8-metre black Bar Crusher, a type of aluminium boat.Police said they were concerned for Mr Cunningham's welfare and asked the public to provide information about his current whereabouts. Anyone with information is asked to call the Water Police Coordination Centre on 08 9442 8600 or 131 444.
