Cuban has long been a flashy showman, though, and he understands the power of salesmanship as well as anyone in the NBA.The owner who once predicted that the NFL would get too big for its own good has now acknowledged the NBA can’t compete with the all-powerful NFL when it comes to the pursuit of Swift, who can sell out football stadiums across America and wouldn’t even bother with playing NBA arenas anymore.
Dallas face a rough road in 2023-24, with everyone from Golden State and Denver to Phoenix and the Los Angeles Lakers trying to make it out of the Western Conference and reach the NBA Finals. Whoever succeeds could then end up facing Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo paired together with the Milwaukee Bucks.
