Richard Marles has met with US Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin at the Pentagon, where the pair discussed matters such as climate change and “deterring aggression” in the Indo-Pacific region.
Mr Marles, who is also Deputy Prime Minister, is in the US for his first visit since assuming the role.
