Moves on the billboardcharts: maroon5 lands their 15th consecutive Hot100 top 40 single with Memories
's top 40, as the group's new single "Memories" arrives at, fittingly, No. 22 on the chart dated Oct. 5., which spent seven weeks atop the Hot 100 beginning last September. Including "Memories," Maroon 5's last 15 radio-promoted singles have reached the top 40, dating to "Moves Like Jagger" in 2011.
Following its release on Sept. 20, the new track debuts at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart with 27,000 downloads sold in the week ending Sept. 26, according to Nielsen Music. It also drew 9.7 million U.S. streams and 19.6 million in all-format radio reach . Maroon 5 now boasts five Digital Song Sales No. 1s, tying The Black Eyed Peas for the most among duos/groups.
