NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has made good on his promise to light the Sydney Harbour Bridge in maroon if Queensland won the State of Origin – but only for a short time.
He also acknowledged the consequences of the outcome, specifically a bet he had with Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk over the series decider. “QLDER!!!!!!! Time to light the Sydney Harbour Bridge MAROON,” Palaszczuk tweeted on Wednesday night.
