Behind the camera lights, Marsai still has skin concerns just like everyone else, including surprise breakouts. “It's very annoying at times because it'll be like right before a photo shoot,” she says. Eczema has also been a lifelong battle for Marsai. “I've grown up with eczema. That was the thing that I would get on my face, neck or even my arms at times. Sometimes you could see it on red carpets, so that was the main worry for me.
As a brand ambassador, Marsai says she’s most excited to apply her creative eye to the beauty space in a way she hasn’t done before. “I've always considered myself a creator and an entertainer first. Being able to create in a different way than TV and film, collaborating with people that have been in the game for so long, and learning so much at the same time is beautiful,” she added.
The first social media campaigns produced by Marsai will be released this summer. As she works hard behind the scenes, she most looks forward to putting her touch on an iconic brand and bringing her creative ideas to life. “Being a producer is a creator in many ways, so I hope to bring in a new light, and not just a new face, but also a new way.”
