This kind of move is usually done prior to the release of new promotional material and would align with a recent tease from Insomniac’s community director James Stevenson.
While nothing has been confirmed, it would make sense for a new Marvel's Spider-Man 2 trailer to arrive soon. Miles Morales actor Nadji Jeter recently retweeted the game's first trailer without comment, and actor Tony Todd spoke about his role as Venom recently, offering up new details about his take on the popular Marvel character after teasing "big news" that was later revealed to be about a separate project.
