Prepare for another tragic death.

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The Marvel Cinematic Universe is preparing for two major crossover events in its upcoming Phase 6, and it seems to have already set up the death of one Avenger: Ant-Man .

Various Avengers who survived the Battle of Earth and weren’t part of the original team have been theorized to die in the upcoming crossover events with Kang and his variants, among them Ant-Man. Scott Lang’s demise has been rumored since Captain America: Civil War, but he has proven to be a key player in the MCU thanks to his unique powers and abilities – but one of his most impressive powers is what is now setting him up to die in Phase 6.

Quantumania revealed that Scott Lang wrote a book, titled Look Out For The Little Guy, between the events of Endgame and Quantumania, and this book is actually available for purchase. Ant-Man’s book includes a Q&A section in which a couple of secrets about Ant-Man and his fellow Avengers have been revealed. One of those questions is if there’s a limit to how big Ant-Man can grow as Giant-Man.

So far, the MCU has shown some minor effects on Scott Lang whenever he becomes Giant-Man, such as fainting, getting very exhausted, and also very, very hungry, with a craving for citrus fruit. Surely, as Ant-Man continues to use this power, it will have bigger and more serious effects on his body, and if becoming Giant-Man is what can save everyone while battling Kang’s variants and other threats, this could be Ant-Man’s heroic sacrifice.

Ant-Man's Phase 6 Death Would Explain Several Recent MCU Storylines As mentioned above, Ant-Man’s death has been rumored to happen for a while now, but there weren’t any actual clues in the MCU that pointed to his demise coming soon. However, some recent storylines in the Multiverse Saga can now support the belief that Ant-Man won't survive the upcoming crossover events.
