Cumberland Council wants to cut parking times from one hour to 30 minutes on Senhouse Street.

Drivers will be allowed to stay for shorter periods as part of proposals for parking changes on a busy street.

It said the changes would reduce the amount of traffic which currently spills on to Curzon Street and create "faster turnover of vehicles".Currently, drivers using the disc parking bays are allowed to park for one hour but under the changes this would be reduced to 30 minutes.
