Allred was reported missing Thursday after texting her boyfriend and saying that she was going for a walk. She never returned.
Allred’s car was found abandoned at a Green Diamond Resource Company gate on Southeast Lynch Road near train tracks Friday morning in Shelton.Surveillance footage showed Allred leaving her home in her car Thursday around 11 a.m. Investigators learned her car was seen parked at the gate around 3 p.m. on Thursday.
The sheriff’s office said the clothing Allred was wearing didn’t appear suitable for long exposure to cold, wet overnight conditions.
