Marseille are in advanced talks with Manchester United over a move for Mason Greenwood, talkSPORT understands.
Greenwood is training alone away from the rest of the Man United ’s players who have already returned for pre-season while the club try and resolve his future.The Red Devils value the former England striker at £40million and would prefer a straight sale rather than a loan with an option to buy.to add Greenwood to their squad and have held positive talks with him.

Last August, the Red Devils confirmed the striker would continue his career away from the club following an internal investigation. Greenwood was arrested in January 2022 on suspicion of rape, assault and making threats to kill after images and videos surfaced online.He was then suspended by the club and he denied all allegations.by the Crown Prosecution Service in February 2023 due to ‘a combination of the withdrawal of key witnesses and new material’.He last played for Man United on January 22, 2022 in a 1-0 win over West Ham.
