Police say suspect arrested and believed to have acted alone in attack at gay bar which killed two
Olav Roenneberg, a journalist from Norwegian public broadcaster NRK, said he witnessed the shooting.
Norwegian broadcaster TV2 showed footage of people running down Oslo streets in panic as shots rang out in the background. He said in a statement to Norwegian news agency NTB: “We don’t know yet know what is behind this terrible act, but to the queer people who are afraid and in mourning, I want to say that we stand together with you.”“We are shocked and saddened by the tragic incident, and we are following it closely,” Oslo Pride said in a Facebook statement. “Our thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones.”
