There will be a police escort

An electricity transformer weighing 197 tonnes will be transported from Glasgow to Renfrewshire with a police escort in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The equipment will follow a “carefully planned route” from the junction of A736 and Hurlet Road via Grahamston Road, Caplethill Road, Glenburn Road and on to the B775 before reaching its destination.
