Larissa Crummer announces after a Champions League quarterfinal she will end her football career in Norway and return to Australia to become a plumber and spend more time with her family.
She is returning home to spend more time with her wife and two kids, and take up a career as a plumber.
But after a 3-1 loss to Barcelona , the forward told local media she would hang up her boots and move back to Australia.We put the spotlight on women making a big impact on and off the field in the sporting world – from the grassroots through to the elite level."When I was thanking the fans, it got very emotional. I am happy to finish here on such a high in a quarterfinal in the Champions League.
"With the two little ones being as young as they are, I'm missing a lot. I just can't wait to be home and finally be part of the family again."
