The Matildas' dream World Cup campaign has come to an end with the side finishing the tournament in fourth place, Australia's best ever finish.
The Matildas lined up in their away, turquoise, kit in front of a bumper crowd at Brisbane Stadium on Saturday night with the chance to take home Australia's first podium finish at a FIFA World Cup.

Another string of passes forward gave the Matildas another promising chance but the cross was sent over the awaiting attackers in the box.
The Matildas opened the second half strongly and were spending plenty of time in the Swedish half but were unable to link up for the killer pass.
