Matthew Perry had been planning to create a foundation to help people like him who were suffering from substance abuse months before his sudden death.
The Friends actor, 54, was found unresponsive in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home late on Saturday afternoon by his assistant who returned from errands.
Before his death, it was understood Perry had been in the early stages of planning and forming a foundation, sources close to the late star told TMZ.Perry - who grew to worldwide fame playing Chandler Bing on hugely popular American sitcom Friends - had been open about his struggles with alcohol and drugs.
