Mattress Mack envisions an Astros repeat.
After the famous sports gambler, whose real name is Jim McIngvale,with multiple bets on the Astros to win the World Series, he’s back for more with Opening Day around the corner.
McIngvale, a Houston-area furniture store magnate, recorded a video from Caesars Palace in Las Vegas announcing his new bet for this upcoming season.McIngvale placed a $1.9 million bet on the Astros to win the World Series again, and at +600 odds, the payout would earn him $11.4 million . “They won last year, and this is the golden age of Houston Astros baseball,” McIngvale said in the video. “And they will cement the dynasty by winning the world championship this year.”
Before last season, McIngvale placed a $3 million bet on the Astros to win the World Series at +1000 odds, and continued to place more bets on the team throughout the regular season and postseason.
