Lo que le queda de consuelo al mexicano es el subcampeonato, aferrándose a una diferencia de 33 puntos sobre Lewis Hamilton de Mercedes. Red Bull nunca ha conseguido el 1-2 en el campeonato de pilotos. Verstappen no sólo ha sido el más rápido. Ha sido el más consistente.
