McDonald’s is slashing the price of two fan favourite menu items this Monday, September 4, available exclusively via the McDonald’s App. The single McMuffin will be available for £1.19 and the McChicken Sandwich has dropped in price to £1.39 – a 50% reduction.
For one day only, McDonald’s App customers can get 30% off a single McMuffin, as the breakfast item is available for £1.19. With a choice of bacon or sausage. After 11am, the McChicken Sandwich is up for grabs for £1.39 – a saving of £2.80. The classic burger is filled with crispy coated chicken, lettuce and sandwich sauce, in a sesame-topped bun.
Customers will be able to earn points when they purchase one of these deals by opting into MyMcDonald’s Rewards. The scheme means every penny spent equals one Rewards point, so this week’s offers will get you 119 points when grabbing a single McMuffin and 139 points when picking up a McChicken Sandwich.
There is an option for customers to donate the cash equivalent of their points to charities including FareShare, to support the company’s commitment to reducing food poverty and waste in the UK. All deals are exclusively available on the McDonald’s App and customers can start earning points on all orders by downloading via Google Play or the Apple App Store here, signing up and opting into MyMcDonald’s Rewards.
McDonald’s breakfast is available from 5am-11am, and McDonald’s lunchtime menu is available from 11am daily.
