GUADALUPE, AZ — A 6-year-old girl reported missing from Guadalupe Saturday morning has been found safe, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
The child, identified as Luna Nunez, was reportedly last seen Friday night near Avenida del Yaqui and Calle Barbarita before she was reported missing. Her mother put her to bed Friday night around 10. p.m. and discovered she was gone around 6:30 a.m. Saturday. MCSO says Luna was believed to be kidnapped by a family member's boyfriend and was found uninjured near I-8 and Freemen Road, which is between Gila Bend and SR 84. The man was found in the same area and taken into custody.
