Actress and screenwriter Tina Fay, who wrote the script for the original film as well as the Broadway adaptation, will be returning for the project.
She will be joined by producer Lorne Michaels and directors Samantha Jayne and Arturo Perez Jr.followed Cady Heron as she swapped being homeschooled in Africa for life in a suburban American high school, joining popular group 'the Plastics' led by Regina George.
