It is believed the incident was due to a fault with the heating system
A medical centre in Northampton had to be evacuated last week after a heating malfunction left 11 patients and members of staff feeling sick. All three emergency services attended the incident and some roads were closed to accommodate.
Fire crews arrived and evacuated the building whilst investigations were carried out to find what had caused the 11 people to feel ill. Northamptonshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service were also in attendance and some local roads were closed whilst the services were on scene.The gas was isolated and firefighters used monitoring equipment to check the air quality, but found nothing of concern. It is believed the incident was due to a fault with the centre’s heating system.
