Meet Lauryn Rush, the wife of Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush, who will be starting in place of an injured Dak Prescott on Sunday.

In May of 2020, Rush was waived by the Cowboys after Dallas signed former Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton. Later that month, he was claimed off waivers by the Giants, where his former head coach, Jason Garrett, served as the team’s offensive coordinator. Beyond a change of scenery, Rush also had another life-altering event: his wedding to Lauryn. In June 2020,Cooper and Lauryn Rush are proud parents of daughter Ayla.that they were expecting their first child together. Weeks later, Lauryn — who is a domestic engineer and a holistic health coach — proudly announced that a baby girl was on the way.The Rushs’ daughter, Ayla Patricia, arrived in April 2021.Lauryn Rush showed off her boots during the Cowboys’ season opener in Sept. 2022.
As for Prescott, who sustained a thumb injury in Week 1, he underwent successful surgery on Monday and is eyeing a possible return for Week 8 or 10,
