A representative for Meghan Markle issued a statement declaring 'the team behind Archetypes remain proud of the podcast they created at Spotify' after it was reported the streaming giant gave the Duchess the boot by cancelling her lucrative contract.

The show’s producers were informed this week the podcast, which explores the labels that hold women back, won’t be renewed.

Insiders claim the royal couple have failed to meet the productivity benchmarks to receive the full payout from the deal..The talent agency that has recently signed the mother-of-two said in a statement that Duchess plans to still release the next season of Archetypes, but will do so on another platform.
