Pert said he was “disgusted” by the continued allegations of problematic behaviour including substance abuse by Goodwin spanning back three years, saying they were unfounded and harmful to the premiership coach and his family.

“My biggest problem with Simon, I’ll tell you right now, he’s just too focused on his footy. He spends too much time on it, he just sits there, and all the coaches are the same.
