Punters should remember to pack their sunscreen – there is not a cloud in the sky.
“Melbourne’s put on such a beautiful spring day, everyone’s just going to have an amazing day,” she said.She is one of thousands of workers ready for the tens of thousands of attendees the Melbourne Cup is expecting today.She said her day won’t end until 7pm this evening, but she was upbeat about the work, welcoming visitors over the loudspeaker and answering any questions fresh arrivals might have.
