The weather looks sunny for Memorial Day, and with Sugar House Park reopened to vehicles, this holiday weekend is a good opportunity to enjoy the green space.

In the Salt Lake area, Monday’s weather appears mostly sunny and breezy with a high near 77, according to the weather service. On Tuesday, conditions are forecast to be sunny with a high of 78. On Wednesday, Thursday and into next weekend, we’ll likely return to a pattern of having a chance of thunderstorms and showers in the afternoon with highs in the 70s, the weather service said.

In the St. George area, conditions are expected to be sunny and clear for the holiday, with a high of 91. The forecast for the rest of the week predicts sunny and dry weather, with highs in the 80s., from below Woodruff Narrows Reservoir northward to the Utah/Wyoming line, is under a flood warning until Friday, the weather service said. Flooding along the Bear River will mainly impact agricultural areas and low-lying roadways near the river.
