NSW SES Public Information Officer Scott McLennan says Menindee community members are tired but “extremely resilient” as the town experiences its worst flooding in decades.

“They are working collaboratively, they are working together to get through this,” he told Sky News Australia.

“They’re helping each other, they’re forming bands, they are working as closely with each other to ensure each and every one gets through this as quickly and as securely and as safely as possible.”
