'I'd happily eat it every day if I could'
Breakfast burgers are delicious and filling when done right, but some places seem to struggle to get every element spot on.
The trendy decor is complemented with a variety of different wooden tables and chairs, and I particularly liked how the café’s name is represented throughout - a blue bicycle in the window and bike wheels entwined with flowers on the walls. Relaxing mellow music was playing in the background, while fairy lights lit up the back of the café.
My breakfast burger was a soft brioche bun filled with sausage, bacon, hash brown and a fried egg, and oh boy did it impress me. Every element was cooked just how I like it. The bacon and hash brown were crispy, the yolk of the fried egg was runny, and the sausage was full of flavour. You could tell the ingredients were of a high quality, and they were all still hot when served to me.
The breakfast burger doesn’t come with baked beans, but as I was craving them, I asked if it would be possible to have some on the side. The waitress was very accommodating and added a pot to my plate for £1. The burger was so filling and tasty, though, that I could have gone without the beans!
