Pollen levels will be high across Yorkshire at the end of the week
Hay fever sufferers across Yorkshire will need to keep their tissues and antihistamines at the ready this week, as pollen count is set to reach high levels across the county.
Symptoms are set to worsen towards the end of the week, as the pollen count increases to high on Thursday, April 11 and Friday, April 12. But sadly, it doesn’t mean that we’re promised the dry, sunny weather which is normally associated with hay fever. The Met Office has already predicted a miserable April, with more heavy rain on the way , and it's a similar outlook for the rest of the week.
Tuesday Remaining unsettled Tuesday with spells of locally heavy rain and showers. Rain clearing from the west during the afternoon to brighter spells and isolated showers. Chilly overnight as skies clear. Maximum temperature 11 °C.
