Met Office issues weather warning as huge thunderstorms forecast

Heavy rain is set to hit following days of glorious sunshine

The warning - which covers all of Greater Manchester as well as most of England and Wales - will come into force at 12am on Sunday . It will last all day, until 11.59pm.

This will follow days of bright, sunny weather and high temperatures in our region. Though a huge thunderstorm hit Greater Manchester last Sunday and Monday, bringing the first rain in 23 days.
