A yellow warning for wind issued by the Met Office will come into place at midday on Wednesday
A weather warning is set to come info force across Northern Ireland on Wednesday as Storm Agnes is set to hit the region.
The Met Office said: "Storm Agnes to bring a spell of strong and disruptive winds through Wednesday afternoon into early Thursday." Met Office Chief Meteorologist Steve Ramsdale explained: “While the precise track and depth of Storm Agnes is still being determined, there’s a high likelihood of wind gusts around 50 to 60mph for some inland areas. Exposed coastal areas could see gusts of 65-75 mph with a small chance of a few places seeing around 80mph.
