Travel safely this morning

The Met Office has extended a yellow weather warning for fog which now covers Nottinghamshire. Forecasters say areas of fog will make driving and travel conditions difficult on Friday morning .

The warning, which has been in place since 4pm on Thursday , lasts until 11am on Friday. Now extended to cover Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands, the Met Office says fog will cause poor visibility. The Met Office has warned of the prospect of slower journey times with delays to bus and train services possible. There's also a chance of delays or cancellations to flights.The rest of Friday is expected to be mainly cloudy but dry with temperatures reaching 6C. An identical weather warning for fog, covering the county, was in place on Tuesday .
