Yorkshire dealt weather warning over the next
The latest Met Office yellow weather warning for thunderstorms lasts for 11 hours between 2am on Monday, August 12, until later that afternoon at 1pm. It follows a weekend of relatively sunny weather with scorching temperatures in places. Despite the thunderstorm warning, Monday is set to be another hot day.
Storm Debbie - a tropical storm across the Atlantic - is due to arrive later today with high temperatures across Yorkshire. Sheffield is due a 27C scorcher tomorrow . But it's just South Yorkshire with the heat - Leeds , Whitby , Huddersfield and Hull with a delightful 24C.The yellow weather warning brings with it the possibility of "damage to infrastructure and disruption". The Met Office has provided a list of dangers people should be aware of.
