Meta will move to axe its scandal-plagued fact checking program after CEO Mark Zuckerberg slammed its own 'bias' record.

The shift from the Facebook and Instagram owner comes about a week and a half out from the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump who, alongside many of his allies, declared the fact-checking program was biased against conservatives.
