The highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake is reportedly going to be revealed soon as rumors surrounding the revamped Konami entry continue to circulate within the gaming community. In addition to its impending announcement, it’s also been reported that the reimagined stealth adventure game will not be an exclusive launch and is instead going to be a multiplatform release.
Though it hasn’t exactly been confirmed when more information is set to surface, it should only be a matter of time until additional details are disclosed as the . Unfortunately, Hideo Kojima’s brilliance won’t be a part of the process this time around after having separated from Konami in 2015 following the release of the equally beloved Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain., they’ve also apparently confirmed that the Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake will be released on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC systems. Sadly, Nintendo fans may be getting the short end of the stick once again if this remains true as they’ll need to own one of the other platforms to play it.
It’s important to keep in mind, though, that none of these details have actually been confirmed by Konami or Virtuos yet so you’ll need to take this information with a grain of salt. Based on all of the hints that have been provided so far, however, all signs point to the remake being revealed sooner rather than later.
