The Englishman couldn't hide his disappointment following a 5-1 hammering in Eindhoven as the Ibrox side drop into Europa League.
Michael Beale admits the buck stops with him after watching Rangers ripped to shreds by PSV Eindhoven as their Champions League dream came to a brutal end - but insists he has no regrets over his approach.
Asked on TNT Sports if he had any regrets over his approach he said: “Not really. They are clearly a good team. At times in the first leg we had the game where we wanted it. We conceded off a set play tonight. We found ourselves 2-0 down and scored and that moment is crucial and then we concede again within three minutes.
"I wasn’t happy with losing the way we lost. There were moments in the game that could have gone for us and some opportunities in the second half didn’t go for us but it’s obviously bitterly frustrating. I want to apologise to our fans who stuck with the team in both legs and expect more than what they got."
"In two legs against PSV we scored three goals but the problems are at the other end of the pitch. They’re a very a good team but that doesn’t take away from our disappointment.
