Conor McGregor appears to have his heart set on fighting for the UFC lightweight title when he returns
once more and standing in his way would be the current champion Charles Oliveira.
Speaking to UFC commentator Joe Rogan on his podcast, he asked: “It’s wild but if you ran the company would you want that to happen?” “I’ll tell you this, if there’s a person that you’d put him against in the top-5 to beat, it would be Charles Oliveira,” Bisping added.
Out of all of them, Bisping is probably right that Oliviera would be McGregor’s best chance stylistically. But given how much McGregor has bulked up during his time off, a comeback at 170 is probably more likely.McGregor has called out Makhachev in recent weeks and Rafael Dos Anjos mentioned the Irishman as a possible opponent after his win at UFC 272.
