Microsoft Office is getting a makeover, with the company announcing a new name and branding for the iconic brand 👨‍💻

Microsoft Office is changing. Sort of.Word, Powerpoint, Excel and the rest aren’t going anywhere.

Over the next few months, Office.com, the Office mobile app, and Microsoft’s Office app for Windows will all adopt new branding and icons.Microsoft 365 is a monthly subscription service while Microsoft Office is a one-time purchase. Amazingly, Microsoft Office was first released all the way back in 1990 – and has stayed pretty consistent since then.
