Trout overcomes a three-strikeout performance and hits a two-out, two-run homer in the 10th inning for a 4-2 Angels victory in Seattle
SEATTLE — Mike Trout made up for a rough afternoon with one swing.
It was Trout’s 19th homer of the season, and his 50th career homer against the Mariners, his most against any team. Left-hander José Quijada then worked a scoreless bottom of the 10th, picking up his first save with the Angels. Closer Raisel Iglesias had pitched a perfect ninth to get the game to extra innings.
