The Scotland star is on the brink of a move to one of Arteta's former clubs.
Mikel Arteta insists there are "things that are not resolved" after the Arsenal boss was quizzed on Kieran Tierney's seemingly imminent move to Real Sociedad.
The former Celtic full back - linked with an emotional return to Parkhead once his Gunners future was thrown into doubt this summer - appears to be on the brink of a switch to Spain's La Liga. Arsenal want to sell the 26-year-old Scotland star to rake back some of the £25 million they shelled out to sign him from the Hoops.
Real Sociedad are looking for a loan but the deal could be structured to ensure there is an obligation to buy at the end of the loan. Arteta is from San Sebastian and spent a season at the Spanish outfit after leaving Rangers in 2004 and he was asked if he would fly over and show the defender around which raised a smile. But he said: "There are things that are not resolved yet and when that is the case we will tell you.
