The latest Nottingham Forest transfer news as Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic has been sounded out to become the club's newest recruit
Nottingham Forest are reportedly closing in on the signing of Nikola Milenkovic after talks progressed since the weekend.
They reportedly began with a £13m offer as City Ground chiefs held plenty of confidence. Supposedly this may have been below the Italian club's asking price though still the determination to strike an agreement was not diminished to the point where now, a deal could potentially be closed today. Alfredo Pedulla ratifies this, as he too states that the clubs are 'moving fast' towards the deal's completion. He claims that the bonuses involved fall within the region of £2-3m
For that cost, Forest would be getting a player with over 308 professional appearances at club level. The vast majority of those have been with Fiorentina, who the 26-year-old signed for seven years ago. This includes features in both Europa Conference League final defeats of the past two campaigns - the latter of which Evangelos Marinakis watched live as his other club Olympiacos emerged victorious.
